The Teal Magnolia Luncheon is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Florida (OCAF). Starting with 99 attendees in 2001, the annual luncheon has grown to over 650 attendees. It is the largest event of its kind in Seminole County. Events in the past have been hosted by Jacqueline London, news anchor at WKMG TV, and included appearances by the reigning Miss Florida as well as performances by Menopause the Musical and nationally known comedienne, Maryellen Hooper. Staples of this event include the Judy Murphy Award, an educational table and a great silent auction. Major sponsors in the past have included Drs. Finkler, Holloway and Bigsby, and Florida Hospital/Waterman. In 2009, the Teal Magnolia Luncheon raised over $124,000 with proceeds going to education and awareness of ovarian cancer.

The Tenth Annual Teal Magnolia Luncheon  is scheduled for April 9, 2011. We are moving to a new location. The Westin Lake Mary is the new home for the luncheon. Check back soon for details about the 10th anniversary celebration!
